Misuzu Matsuyama was a human female bounty hunter and assassin who worked for various criminal organizations and governments. She eventually led her own criminal group, the Matsuyama Family. Originally born to a poor family on Naboo, Misuzu's father abandoned her and her mother after killing a Hutt Cartel official. For several years, the two lived alone until her mother married again. The father physically and sexually abused them both, and ended up killing her mother. Misuzu fled and joined the Naboo Royal Security Force to escape him, though had to leave it and later joined the Imperial Drug Control Agency. During an undercover operation against smugglers near Commenor, Misuzu was captured by the Black Sun and forced to join.
