Sword Art Online - Aincrad (ソードアート・オンライン アインクラッド, Sōdoāto Onrain Ainkuraddo?) is a manga adaptation of the Aincrad Arc of the light novel series by Kawahara Reki. This manga covers Volume 1 and some of the side stories in Volume 2 of the light novel series. The manga was illustrated by Nakamura Tamako and was published as part of the Dengeki Bunko Magazine. The Japanese version of this manga was published in two volumes, each consisting of 6 stages (chapters), while the American version of the manga published all 12 stages in one book. The story of the Aincrad manga is continued in the Fairy Dance manga.
