Merad Taltus was a General in the Imperial Army. Taltus and Anton Marcos were considered by many to be best friends. He was present in 13 BBY when Marcos was stabbed through the heart by Flaxxa. Taltus and Marcos parted ways when their respective tours of duty came in, though they would work together again on occasion. Taltus eventually attained the rank of General, and was personally requested by Admiral Marcos for his fleet's ground forces.
