A Bajoran serena was a Bajoran evening love song. In 2369, Anara ordered the computer of the space station Deep Space 9 to access the musical files in the Bajoran master data banks and create a concert program of Bajoran serenas. Her request was part of a plan of overloading the computer after it was learned that the software lifeform Pup was disabling the facility. When the plan was successful, Pup was manually transferred to six isolinear rods. (DS9: "The Forsaken")
