The TIE Retribution took a standard TIE cockpit and the rather poor performance of the TIE Retaliator and added two additional solar panels. It flied much better than its predecessor, and it had four heavy laser cannons to fight off opponents fairly easily. However, it was short-range, so it had to be carried around inside Harbinger-class Escort Carriers.
