Melissa Fitzgerald played Carol Fitzpatrick on all seven seasons of The West Wing. She was married to West Wing guest star Noah Emmerich from 1998-2003. She also starred in the films Frequency (with Emmerich), Love & Sex (with Emmerich and Robert Knepper), Monuments Ave. (with Martin Sheen, John Diehl and Emmerich). After the program went off the air she became the director of the non-profit Justice4Vets.
