Pasi Kuivalainen (b. July 15 1972 in Kuopio, Finland) is a retired professional goaltender who played in the SM-Liiga for KalPa Kuopio, Ässät Pori, Ilves Tampere, Pelicans Lahti and Tappara Tampere. Kuivalainen shone in the 1990 European Junior Championship, to the point of being named best player of the tournament, along with Jere Lehtinen and Kristian Taubert. He was named twice Ilta-Sanomat Star player in the SM-Liiga, for the seasons 1995-96 and 1997-98.
