Loyd was a Grayson citizen and an officer of the Grayson Space Navy. Holding the rank of Lieutenant in the early 1920s PD, he served aboard the destroyer GNS Manasseh. He witnessed Lieutenant Commander Kevin Lockhart harassing Midshipwoman Claire Bedlam Lecroix, and informed the executive officer about it, leading to Lockhart's removal from the ship. (HHA6.5: OS)
