Euler was a Starfleet career officer, a Human serving in the late 24th century. By the 2380s decade, Euler had achieved the rank of captain and was the commanding officer of the USS Canterbury. In the year 2383, Captain Euler commanded the Canterbury during the evacuation of Deep Space 9, ferrying several evacuees to Bajor. The Canterbury remained in the Bajoran system following the events.
