In 2644, Emerson St. Clair was appointed to the Senate. In 2653, St. Clair was appointed leader and renamed the party. Instead of a political party, Fusion, became more of a media group. From February 2646 until May 2652, St. Clair served as Minister of Defence. He died in 2654 after suffering a heart attack.
