Zafreeti were a bizarre, force sensitive semi-sentient species that hailed from Yavia. They were unique in their ability to use the force to heal other lifeforms as well as each other. They shared this ability with the smaller, insectoid Vorg. Zafreeti were of major importance to the warring tribes on Yavia, since they could be used to heal allied monsters during an attack. Zafreeti were rare in nature, and their extremely complex biology required an immense amount of Yavian goo to produce.
