1/2 (ハーフ Hāfu) is an anime that was written, directed, and created by Akira Jotaro who also created the anime A Little Ghost Story, Swinging!, and Yakuza Princess. The story is set in modern Japan in a fictional island city near the city of Yokohama. The story is about a young girl who had lost her lover and sister and is now wandering the island she lives in to find a reason for her to continue living on.
