The Trainer (訓練用の剣 Kunren-yō no ken, lit. Training Sword) is a basic sword that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. This sword only appears in the Prologue chapter, and is wielded by Ike and Greil during the practice sparring sessions that they engage in. Incapable of inducing a critical hit when equipped, this sword is, ironically enough, one that is statistically more powerful than the Iron Sword.
