This power allows the Jedi to translate a beast language and speak it in kind. As creatures rarely have "true" languages, the Jedi is actually imparting and reading emotional differences within grunts and growls and of body language. Note that the character may keep this power up if the Jedi needs to continue talking to a creature. For beasts that can be ridden, subtract -2D from their Orneriness code while this power is in effect. (Obviously, the creature's Orneriness code cannot drop below 0D.)
