Alph Ginihle (アルフ・ギニール Arufu Giniiru?), the Master Swordsman, is a major antagonist in Tales of the World: Summoner's Lineage. He is Mark Ginihle's brother, for whom Mark is searching. Alph is later revealed to be working for Xex, helping him locate pact rings. He is the cause of his parents' murder that happened in Venezia seven years prior to the game's events. In battle, Alph is capable of summoning "Warrior"-type monsters, as well as some Fire elementals.
