The Erebus system was a star system that was located in the Occlus sector of Otherspace. It contained the planet Erebus, homeworld of the Charon and the capital of the Charon Dominion, as well as the transdimensional anomaly known as the Hellmouth, the ancient Kathol superweapon, the Atercor, and the massive nebula, the Lake of Fire. Unlike most star systems, the Erebus system orbited, not a star, but a black hole, called the Eye of Atheatos.
