Created 1900 by the London Government Act 1899, from the vestry of Hampstead and abolished in 1965. It was amalgamated with the Metropolitan Borough of St Pancras and the Metropolitan Borough of Holborn to form the London Borough of Camden. See also List of Mayors of Hampstead
