Carianth was a blue dragon of Benden Weyr in the Second Interval and the Third Pass. His rider was G'niall. He flew in M'tal's Wing. Carianth fell sick with the Dragon Plague prior to the beginning of the Third Pass. When Benden Weyr first rose to fight Thread, he and two other dragons failed to emerge from Between, which affected the morality of the other riders and threw off their formations.
