HMCS Swansea was a Canadian River-class frigate that was active in the Battle of the Atlantic from 1943 to 1945. She was the most successful U-boat hunter in the Royal Canadian Navy, having a hand in the destruction of four of them. Following the war she was refit as a Prestonian-class frigate.
