Remer Ather was a Jedi Master and a member of the Jedi Council during the Great Territorial War. He led the unsuccessful defense of the Galactic Senate during the First Battle for Coruscant and blamed himself for the Third Sith Empire's takeover of Coruscant. He was killed by Darth Mantus shortly before the end of the war.
