Mappy is a video game series by Namco debuting in 1983, where a white police mouse, Mappy, must retrieve items stolen from Goro and his gang of Meowkies. The series has had many games on Nintendo systems (especially Famicom, including two not available platforms from other companies. These exclusives, however, were never put on Virtual Console because of various Catholic references, while the original Mappy was. Mappy also makes a cameo as one of Pac-Man's taunts in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, and an essential Mappy feature, the trampoline, is incorporated as one of his moves.
