The Great Vong Purge was a purge against the Yuuzhan Vong species by the New Republic. The cause was the constant harassment of New Republic troops and transports in the Outer Rim by the Vong, which continued even after countless warnings. The New Republic responded, and allied with the Imperial Remnant. All of the Vong were killed during the purge.
