The Setback was finished in 2550 CE, two years before the discovery of Halo or the Battles of Reach and Earth, and was given the simple task of defending the colony world dubbed by the humans as Geminis. The Covenant miraculously never found this world, and the Setback along with another ship: the Retribution survived the entire war. But, not before the Setback was sent to Earth for the planet's defense along with the Retribution. Both ships survived the following First and Second Battles of Earth, and the crew was commended for their valor against the enemy.
