The Malaysian Computer Emergency Response Team (MyCERT) was formed on January 13, 1997, and started its full operation on March 1, 1997. Operating from the office of CyberSecurity Malaysia, MyCERT provides a point of reference for the Internet community in Malaysia to deal with computer security incidents. MyCERT provides assistance in handling incidents such as intrusion, identity theft, malware infection, cyberharassment and other computer security related incidents.
