Battle Axe of Mauletar, also known by the name Battle Axe +2, is an enchanted weapon and a very powerful axe. Compared to normal battle axe, this offers a +2 bonus to damage and THAC0, and a speed factor that is two points lower. The axe has a weight of 5 lbs. Like all axes, it requires 10 points in Strength to wield the weapon. It appears in Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition. In Baldur's Gate II, a Battle Axe +2 appears with the same item icon and artwork, but has the common item description of axes.
