Gamma II was a planetoid located in Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, the second planet in orbit of the Gamma star system. Gamma II was uninhabited, the location of an unmanned Federation research outpost that was visited by the starship USS Enterprise in the year 2267.
