The Bangladesh Naval Academy is situated at the mouth of the Karnaphuli River at Patenga, Chittagong, Bangladesh. It was established in 1976 at the premises of the Marine Academy at Juludia, Chittagong, later shifted to BNS ISSA KHAN in Chittagong to train the cadets of the Bangladesh Navy. The Academy shifted to its present location in 1988. The Academy has produced many distinguished naval officers among them present CNS is the second CNS to be trained in BNA.
