Toby Arachnid is the son of Everafters Miss Muffet (aka Mrs. Arachnid) and her husband the Spider. He can switch between the form of a human-looking Everafter and a very large spider. When his mother was pregnant with him, the couple were nearly broke and desperate for money. Rumplestiltskin offered a deal with them in which they would hand over their child to Rumplestiltskin and would get a large fortune of money in return. Their emotions being manipulated by Rumplestiltskin, the couple agreed and, when Toby was born, became instantly rich. Toby, however, was to be raised lovingly by Rumplestiltskin and was convinced that his parents abandoned him in a park. As he grew, Toby's emotions would be fed on by Rumplestiltskin, and he became extremely loyal to his "father."
