Hasin Yanith was the son of former Bajoran Resistance fighters Hasin Arnit and Limis Vircona. He was named after a friend of Limis's since her infancy and was conceived the night before the older Yanith died from injuries inflicted by Cardassians. At some time prior to the end of the Occupation, Limis left Bajor with young Yanith in the hope of searching for a better life.
