The Blood-Eye Cult was a group of warriors loyal to Hera. They wore red peacock eyes on their armour. They were led by Castor and were responsible for stealing the Golden Fleece from Argos on the tenth anniversary of the Argonauts' expedition. The Argonauts mounted a second expedition to retrieve the Fleece and many members of the Cult were killed when the volcano above their headquarters erupted.
