OOM-9 was a Trade Federation B-1 battle droid that commanded the Trade Federation Droid Army during its Invasion of Utapau in 22 BBY. After the invasion began, OOM-9 oversaw the landing of the Federation troops in the forests around Utapau’s Aquarian Ocean. After speaking with Maul, the Dark Jedi commander of the invasion, about its plans, OOM-9 led its forces to New Centrif, where they participated in the Battle of New Centrif. After also waging the Battle of Spinnaker and Harte Secur, OOM-9 and its forces launched the Battle of Ogana. The battle was a success for the Federation and OOM-9 began helping to oversee the Federation’s occupation efforts.
