Brilliant Dreams is a herb based dream enhancement supplement that claims to enhance dream vividness, increase dream density and improve dream recall. Since it tends to be much easier to achieve lucid dreaming in vivid dreams, Brilliant Dreams may be used to aid in the induction of lucid dreams. In 2001 the FDA approved galantamine for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. During clinical trials a remarkable side effect was discovered: test subjects taking galantamine reported they experienced vivid dreams as compared to those taking a placebo.
