There have been a total of 7 KLP leaders, they have all resigned. There are leadership elections after a leader resigns once the election is over there is a leader and a deputy leader elected into office. The leader normally has the responsibility of getting themselves elected to presidency, while they still do help the deputy leader in campainging for votes in the General Assembly.
