Sun Chakra is a type of chakra usable only by those who possess the "Plant Release" Kekkei Genkai. It is used through a technique of the mentioned Release, called "Plant Release: Kōgōsei", which absorbs sunlight from the Sun itself and transforms it into chakra. Sun Chakra is similiar in many ways to normal Chakra, but it more intense and increases the effectiveness of jutsu that use this chakra and is, in some cases, required for some Plant Release techniques. Sun Chakra is one of some sources of chakra that breathes life. However powerful it may be, it has it's own share of downsides. Since Sun Chakra is more intense then normal chakra, it uses more stamina to control it and can tire out a person if they rely on it too much.
