Xel Dun was a Jedi Knight that became attached to Mu Squad during the later years of the Clone Wars. Xel Dun's interest in all aspects of the Force led him to stray from the orthodoxy of the Jedi Order but still maintained affiliation with the Jedi Order. In a self-impose exile Xel Dun managed to gain insight into the Dark side of the Force without being corrupted by it. Only after the Jedi Order learn of the Heart of Graush, was Xel Dun successfully persuaded to return to active duty within the Order. After the events aboard the Excutrix Xel Dun went to live the life of a Gray Jedi.
