The Second Imperium, also called the Second Empire, was a small warlord government formed by Moff Hirono Tavira of the Galactic Empire following the Battle of Endor. It was essentially a replica of the Empire, but only ruled several remote Outer Rim Territories sectors. However, due to self-proclaimed Empress Tavira's dealings, it was very rich and she managed to attract many engineers, scientists, and architects. They were able to begin work on the Death Star III, defended by three Imperial-class Star Destroyers, the Imperator, Predator, and Superior, as well as several squadrons of TIE series fighters.
