A duchy (formerly a county) in the southeast of the Dragaeran Empire which encompasses Dzur Mountain, and environs, as well as the village of Nacine. The Duchy is ruled by Morrolan e'Drien from Castle Black, located near the center of Southmoor. Southmoor was previously ruled by Count Rollondar e'Drien, Morrolan's father. After the Battle of Adrilankha, Zerika the Fourth granted Morrolan the title of Duke, and raised Southmoor to a Duchy, incorporating additional lands to the north of the previous county of Southmoor into Morrolan's holdings.
