Born on Nar Shaddaa the moon that orbits the planet Nal Hutta, he was raised till the age of 13 in an orphanage. Here he learned lifes basic skills, fighting for your food, fighting for your bed, fighting to live. As he grew he became fond of an older boy, one he does not speak of now. This older boy was adopted into a petty street gang when Jarr'ik was about the age of 12. After a year hanging out with the gang, the older boy was killed in a territorial fight over a corner liquer store's protection money. In avenging the loss of his adopted brother's life he took his killer own life, and also getting his first taste of blood.
