The Zygerrian Legion, unofficially called the Zygerrian Naval Legion, was one of the Separatist volunteer legions that fought in the Clone Wars. Unlike the other legions, it was a formal part of the Confederate Navy, not the Separatist Droid Army, largely due to the piracy and slavery that the species engaged in. At it's peak, the Legion had 43,000 members, organized into 15 battalions. Most members served as naval infantry; marines. The often enslaved any prisoners they captured, something which the CIS leadership allowed them to in return for their service.
