Baron Ritz ruled the land bordering Baron Howard's domains. Ritz' war rabbits wandered onto Howard's domain and ate from his meadows, prompting Howard to have his guards shoot the rabbits and eat their meat. Ritz responded by sending men to shoot Howard's guards, and a range war ensued. Although Ritz supplemented his forces with cracker mercenaries, Howard's mercenary Lani captured their chief, and Ritz' crackers crumbled in defeat.
