The Staff of Magius was a powerful magical staff which was the trademark weapon of Raistlin II in the Second Age. After Raistlin died, the staff switched owners until it came to the possession of Amon, the Master of the Magestar, in the Third Age. However, the staff shattered by Dusk when Amon tried to use it to kill Marcus Sarillius. The pieces of the staff were later fused with other magical artifacts and became a new, even more powerful staff known as the Staff of Abyss.
