When Daphne informed Bloom that Icy was going to take Politea's enormous Sirenix powers, Bloom went to the Fairy Clock Room to practice chrono-magic with the Winx. In the Room of Faraway Reflections, under the Infinite Ocean, she found out that the Three Ancestral Witches cursed Daphne's Sirenix and turned her into an ethereal spirit. They also turned Politea into a dragon-like being. Politea swam into the depths of the Infinite Ocean to hide herself in her lair.
