Claire (クレア Kurea, lit. Claire) is the main protagonist and playable character in Bokujō Monogatari: Harvest Moon for Girl and female option in Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl. The game starts off with Claire shown to be on a ship and low on cash. She is lost about what she wanted to do with her life, and has no family and friends other than an older gentleman that she meets on the boat. He tells her that she should enjoy her life and does his best to cheer her up. A huge wave strikes the boat, leading to Claire washing up on the beach, presumably a sole survivor of the shipwreck. She is found and rescued by Zack and a mysterious boy.
