Butlers Farmhouse Cheeses is a British maker of cheese, located in Lancashire. The company dates from 1932, when Richard and Annie Butler purchased Lower Barker Farm in Inglewhite, Lancashire. They immediately began utilizing their farm to produce cheeses to sell locally, and over the years have expanded, whth al four of their sons being involved in the family business. They are the maker of a number of cheeses: The name "Blacksticks" comes from the name of the farm owned by Peter Butler, one of the founders' four sons.
