Vultus are fairly large birds of prey that inhabit various places in Astrolin. They mostly scavenge off of killed monsters, but they will attack smaller creatures such as Jaggi, Gargwa, or even people. They can be very disruptive during quests, but they shouldn't be able to single handedly kill even a slightly experienced hunter. Vultus makes its first appearance in Monster Hunter: Wyvern Instincts.
