Faramir "Frank" Stone was the oldest of Tom Stone's three sons, and the only one who was definitely Tom's genetic child. He was also the most level-headed of the three. In 1634, Frank Stone and his brothers traveled to Venice, with their father, who was the medical attache to the USE delegation there. While in Venice, he and his brothers connected with the local Committee of Correspondence. Unfortunately, this soon gave rise to the "zany" idea to rescue Galileo Galilei from the Roman Inquisition. Despite his best efforts, Stone became the de nomine leader of the rescue attempt.
