The Teutonic Order was a group that settled several planets in four different star systems in the early days after the invention of the Warshawski sail and created a state there. They were fairly brutal in the areas they controlled, which included the planets Haupt and Ehre, later known as Hope and Air, in the Solarian League's Sector 12, since the pronunciation of the names decayed along with everything else associated with the Order.
