Kep was the unit of measurement Adumari pilots used in flight speed instead of klicks. They also use Adumar hour instead of Coruscant hour. Its origins lie on the exact thousand paces measured by the stride of some long-dead Cartann perator. The Adumari measurement was about eighty percent of the Imperial standard.
