Sarugani Temaida Balitang (pronounced SAHR-oo-gah-nee tehm-EYE-dah BAHL-ee-tahng) was a raka noblewoman and descendant of the Haiming Dynasty, the old ruling family of the Copper Isles before the Luarin Conquest. House Temaida had kept the old royal blood a secret for centuries, waiting since the Kyprish Prophecy for a chance to put one of their female members on the throne. As the Prophecy called for someone who was "twice-royal", Sarugani would not have been the queen whom Kyprioth mentioned in the prophecy. Before her death, she was married to Mequen Balitang and had two daughters by him: Saraiyu and Dovasary. Through Sarai she was the grandmother of Mequen Hetnim.
