Darth Sedal was a member of the Neo-Sith, holding the rank of Master. He was an overall competent person, having a strong bond with the Force and a capable lightsaber wielder, but often had trouble keeping the light and dark sides of the Force in balance. Most of the time he went on regular missions for the Neo-Sith, taking along his apprentice. In 38 ABY, Sedal was ambushed by a group of Jedi and was nearly captured, until Darth Saido intervened and easily dispatched them all, rescuing Darth Sedal. This is one of many acts of kindness displayed by the Neo-Sith that continue to mystify the Jedi.
